Such a good story of friendship, loyalty, family, love and mostly dragons. Who can say no to dragons.

This book was a bit slow, but I couldn't stay away. Like a slow burn. The world building and character development with the great writing was what kept me glued to the book. It was full of political intrigue, personal tension (I can't say romantic angst, that wasn't what kept characters tense) as well as love that grows with time and understanding.

Also dragons. All the explanations of how they imprint, how they ride, fly, fight, how they connect to their riders. It was fascinating. I loved that it wasn't a magical story, and they weren't magical beings. More of mystical animals that belong to the world. It made it so much better in my eyes.

It's something I fully enjoyed, and loved how it ended.
