I really wanted to like Furyborn by Rosaria Munda! It has all the ingredients to a great story, a revolution, teenage feels, hidden identities, and above all dragons. Unfortunately after a very promising start to the story, it just kind of fell flat. The characters kept making poor choices, which is expected in teenagers, but I found myself losing interest. The action scenes were well written but very predictable, I saw the ending coming a mile away. I've read a lot of YA as an adult, but I think this one is for best for the young (with little reading experience). You can tell the author left room for a sequel, but I have no interest to see were the rest of the story goes, which is not my norm.
