I first of all want to say how much of a sucker I am for a pretty cover. I'm also a huge sucker for dragons. And fantasy books. So basically this book is just like a big bag of candy for me!
And let me tell you...it did not disappoint in the least. This book really has it all. Plus, you know, DRAGONS! It is advertised as being similar to Game of Thrones, and while it lacks the violence of that series, it is similar in the way that the story is extremely compelling and the characters are neither back or white but varying shades of gray. The two main characters are fantastic, and it was great watching them grow as the story progressed. I was hooked from the very first page and couldn't stop reading until the very end!
