I was immediately drawn into the author's story. Incredibly descriptive, the author is able to paint very detailed pictures of her life moments complete with sights, sounds, smells and raw emotions. There were several passages that evoked such strong emotion in me from the way the author was able to vividly describe the situation. I can't wait to read this memoir!
