This book was so full of everything from intrigue to heart pounding moments where , I couldn’t contain myself ! So much drama ! Makes you realize how scary war and isis really were to these people who lived in fear , poverty , starvation and literally had to fight for their lives and the lives of their families ! This man Abu Laith who fought for these animals ,who stuck by there side and fought for them and this doctor Dr Amir who also fought through hell to get these animals out of Mosul and into Another country and risk his own life from the armies out there that wouldn’t let him flee that he had to concoct a story to get these animals hidden behind fruits and vegetables in case they stopped him and in the end he did it and got the lion back in the wilds and the bear ! Such a great story ! Didn’t think I was gonna love this one but I absolutely did !
