This book interested me right from the first paragraph, and I just know it will be a really good book.
The main character, Hakam, lives in Mosul and dreams of having his own zoo. The zoo that is in Mosul is owned by someone who doesn't care about the animals, just the sales of tickets. Hakam talks to the owner and now is taking care of the zoo.
