This was just so dull. I looked up the story, and goddammit, a story about a nobody protecting his zoo from ISIS should be engaging! But this introduction is the most hair-pulling boredom I've experienced from a nonfiction book. Yes it needs to be factual and introduce us to the people involved, but it also needs to be entertaining!
