This is a beautiful cover that juxtaposes nature and human society. The story starts slowly and the character building drags in a bit because it’s a lot more “tell” than “show”. It’s in an odd place between fiction and nonfiction, not quite fitting either. The content itself seems very interesting but the writing wasn’t too appealing for me.
