I read this book when it first came out. I kept seeing it at Barnes and noble and I just had to have it. It said that fans of Christina Lauren, Tessa Bailey, and Kerry Winfrey would like this book.I loved the premise of the book, it had a lot of potential. With magic realism, fairy godmother, and a second chance romance, how could I not like this book. Well, I could not even finish the book. I just couldn’t get into this book. I was not invested in this couple. They were already in love by page one so there was no good drama to keep me interested. The drama gets resolved fast and the only reason I kept reading for so long was to find out why they broke up the first time. And I really wanted to like this book I did but I just couldn't. I hate DNF books its something I rarely do but when I read romance I need to be invested in the couple or even care if they end up together.
