In Ever After, a town where Hansel owns a lumberyard and Gretel an apothecary, magic is dwindling. The only way to save the town is to bring more love to it. So the Fairy Godmothers Petunia, Bluebonnet and Jonquil decide to become wedding planners. And who would be a better match than their two godchildren Lucky and Ransom? The only problem is that something bad happens every time Lucky and Ransom get close…

Fairy Godmothers, Inc. is a very different story. It’s a little bit of romance, fairytale, mystery—but most of all a warm feeling you are lulled in when you read this book. I really appreciated how Saranna DeWylde combined old fairytales with modern romance, incorporated a Prince Charming aka frog as well as Hansel and Gretel (now all grown and business owners). The book was easy to read, and the chapters were of perfect length to read before bedtime or between tasks. I really enjoyed reading the book although it had a little less action than what I usually read, and I especially enjoyed reading it during Christmas time, which has its own magic to me.
