Dang, I really wanted to like this one. Fairy Godmothers Inc had SO MUCH POTENTIAL to be amazing. I was super pumped to receive this as an ARC. It was way more steamy that I thought it was going to be and I did not feel any dimension in the characters. I am so disappointed. I don't want to hate on this book because the writing really was not bad, but it was not for me. Sadly, this was a DNF for me at about the half way point. Maybe if I continued, the characters would be more developed? Again, I am going to say that I had extremely high hopes for this book to be one of my favorites of 2021, but it ended up being my first DNF of the year. I feel like my excitement about the book, kind of spoiled it for me in a way? My expectations might have been a bit too high, but nonetheless, my heart is heavy and I do not think I am going to try to pick this back up for a while. It was just not for me. I also did not enjoy the Lunar Chronicals series, so maybe I just need to stop picking up fairy tale related books?
