This was definitely a cute and fast read. It's about Ransom and Lucky's second chance romance as they try to help their godmothers to bring magic back to Ever After. There was humor, and heart, and a full cast of characters. Unfortunately, I didn't like this as much as I thought I would. Despite the hilarious banter, and the romance between Ransom and Lucky as they struggled to work out their relationship with Lucky's 'curse,' something about this fell flat. I think there were too many characters, and read more like a YA novel than an adult romance. Also, the author's writing style just wasn't for me, and it felt like this novel had dragged on longer than necessary. But I think for those who want something to get out of a slump or are trying out the romance genre this would be a good read, but for someone who primarily reads romance, this was just a decent novel for me.
