Summary:
Lucky Fujiki hates her first name, mostly because all she ever experiences is bad luck. Especially with her first love, Ransom Payne, who is brought back into her life due to her godmothers. What Lucky doesn't know is that they're actual Fairy Godmothers, and making happily ever afters come true is their specialty.

Review:
Full disclosure: I do not read romance. Ever. Its either fantasy or sci fi for me. However, the hefty doses of magic and mayhem in the story got me hooked early on. The magical town, named Ever After, full of fairy tale characters with a modern twist was fantastic. The characters of Lucky and Ransom are well-drawn. You can't help but root for them along the ups and downs of their journey. Exploring the town itself was also captivating. How I'd love to spend a weekend there!

There is swearing and there is sex, so this is a fairy tale for adults. However, I enjoyed the cast of characters, the town of Ever After, and the dynamic relationships. Its funny, romantic, and quite charming. I'd definitely read book 2. Recommended for fans of romance and those who believe in fairies.
