Angsty Rollercoaster!
This book was definitely everything I expected and more! The story is captivating and immediately gets readers invested. This book is aimed towards an YA audience, but I still greatly enjoyed the story.
The main character, Ella, struggles to get over her grief, while still trying to work out how her feels, and try to get closure by finding out more on her dead best friend's life. Ella pushes to try to remember what had happened the night of Hayley's death, and tries to figure it out through reading her dead best friends' diary
This book really kept me guessing throughout, and kept me thoroughly interested in the story. Sloan Harlow managed to paint a gorgeously dark picture of the aftermath of Hayley's death. I loved how the story starts by immediately throwing readers in, but slowly unveiled all of the details, and the plot, and the drama. Overall, I loved the story, while it may not be great for all readers, it was awesome for me.
