I thought this book would have more in the way of just little stories and essays and anecdotes about the author's life and experiences. Funny little stories, funny little anecdotes. Things about family or college or where one lives or the people one meets.

But almost every single page seems to be about God, capital G, and one's relationship with God. I'm not at all religious. I'm not a believer, and this book is probably solely for people who want to think about their relationship with God, and choose to purchase and read and write in things like "faith journals" and so forth.

I personally just do not see things like museum visits, etc., through the lens or prism of a relationship with a creator.

The publisher is Nelson Books, an imprint of the religious publisher Thomas Nelson, so that would be a good indication of the focus.
