This book was so frustrating to read. It's all about Bob Goff, not Christ. If you are not male, white, privileged, then most of Bob's life experiences don't apply to you. It's never about what Christ has done for Bob, but what Bob does for other people. Yes, he does some cool things with his wealth and does want to love other people, but I do not think that Bob is living out the gospel.
Frustrations: Friendships in 3 minutes. He gets to know a guy at the airport in fly by fashion. Yet, the homeless man who he encounters all the time he never even learns his name. Does God want just 3 minutes of our time to form a relationship?
Lets prisoner preach false gospel and baptize others and just shrugs it off and hopes they figure it out some day.
Brags about making people come visit him at Disneyland if they want to meet with him, buying all his houses, flying his private planes.
