I can't get over my first impression of Bob Goff's "Everybody, Always." This book discusses a variety of topics, but the majority lead to the same thing: embrace life. Embrace all the love, pain, crazy, serious, and utterly confounding moments that come with it.
The first person narrative just solidified the entire story through Bob's narration. He is a writer that truly knows how to implement the right (and appropriate) amount of humor in certain situations. I also like how Bob Goff gives an insight into his life with all its high and low moments. It really enables readers to self reflect on their own experiences and implement some of the 'lessons' Bob is trying to impart.
Overall: Let the pain be temporary and open your heart to everybody....always.
