I met Bob Goff in 2014 at an event he did at a local church and was instantly struck by the way in which he presented himself. He's himself, in every situation, choosing to lay his soul out the world in a way only he can. When my husband suggested listening to Bob tells these stories on our last long road trip, I jumped at the chance to learn from him all over again. Learn from him about grace, choosing people over comfort, loving those who aren't like us, and just generally living in awe of all that is around us. Bob loves Jesus and it's evident in the way he holds himself, it's evident in the way he talks about people, and it's evident in the way that he knows the heart of Jesus. If there's one thing we can learn from Bob in Everybody Always, it's that choosing other people despite our discomfort will always be worth it.
