By reading the Prologue I thought I could get into it even though I'm not particularly religious. It seemed like he was promoting loving everyone which I don't think you have to believe in God or Jesus to do. However, the book got extremely religious and lost its crossover appeal. It is not my thing but I could see it working for a lot of people with a certain set of beliefs.
