With an opening line like that, I’m not sure what else there is to say. EVERY LAST FEAR packs quite a punch from start to finish. There were so many twists and absolutely crazy moments. I actually was able to piece some of it together so I was quite proud of myself!
I think my favorite thing about this book was how it was written. Each chapter switches to a different family member’s point of view and the timing also changes between before/after. I thought giving each family member a voice worked so much better than if the book had just been written from Matt Pine’s point of view. One of my favorite characters was his sister, Maggie, because she was so strong and relentless in her pursuit of the truth.
True crime documentaries are incredibly popular right now so I thought it was also brilliant to incorporate pieces of the script from Matt’s family’s viral documentary.
I’ve no doubt EVERY LAST FEAR is going to be talked about a lot when it releases. Be sure to get your hands on a copy of this intense thriller so you can be part of the discussion!
