Thank you to the publisher for emailing me a netgalley widget, as well as, a finished copy when they were done.

The premise of this book had me from page one. 2/3 of a family killed while on vacation. Why them? WHo really had it out for this family on a simple vacation to Mexico?

FInlay hooks you in from page one and never lets go. He honestly kept me turning pages at a rapid pace. The story was well written and done smart. Nothing seemed so far fetch that I found myself rolling my eyes. Our protagonist who is brought in to help solve this mystery is believable and not over the top in any way. And the ending of this mystery made me oh my word-- but in a great way.

My biggest eh was the brother who was in prison. I would have liked something more there. I honestly cannot say what in particular, but it just felt so vague.

Overall I would recommend this book and see it being splashed all over Bookstagram as the release date gets closer!
