This one deserved all the stars!
It does hurt to say, but yes I enjoyed it more than The Maidens & The Silent Patient. I’ve been looking for a book to replace TSP especially and I finally found it with Every Last Fear.
I knew from the very first chapter that I was going to love this book. It started out with a B A N G !!
From there this story spiraled out of control. I mean one bad thing after another, after another. The Pines truly couldn’t catch a break. I kept second-guessing myself throughout the whole book and truly didn’t see the any of things that happened coming. It took me on a wild ride and shocked me with its unveiling. I for one am a huge Linkin Park fan with Numb being one of my fav songs. The tie-in that included the song Numb by Linkin Park just made me fall more in love with this book. Finlay, ended this thriller perfectly considering all that The Pines went through. It would have made a great thriller for a debut novel despite the discrepancies it has caused.
