While Matt is off at college he learns that his parents and two younger siblings were killed in a freak accident while vacationing in Mexico. There is so much going on in this book and the author weaves it all together beautifully. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and did not see the end coming.
Matt's character was really well developed and in a very natural way. He was faced with so many conflicting events and emotions that I really felt like I got a great glimpse inside his head. For definitely being a plot-driven novel, the character development was really well done.
I would recommend this book to all of my thriller-loving friends.
