Matt Pine finds out that his family has died while on vacation in Mexico. His mother, father, sister and brother have seemly died in a freak accident. Matt soon discovers that his family has been murdered, but by who or why is a mystery. Could it have something to do with his older brother who is in prison for murder?
Every Last Fear is a true thriller novel. The way that it is written allows the reader to fall ever deeper into solving the mystery behind the death of Matt's family. I enjoyed the way that the narration goes back and forth between the past and the present, building until the shocking conclusion.
I thought that the way all of the characters lives were interwoven and how everything comes together at the end shows just how masterfully this novel is put together.
There were some scenes that I saw coming, but there were more that totally caught me off guard, making this one of those hard to put down until the end books.
