“They found the bodies on a Tuesday”

This book is a must read. I was hooked from the start. I cannot believe this is a debut! I haven’t read a thriller this good in a while.

Matt Pine an NYU student receives devastating news that his parents and younger siblings have been found dead in Mexico due to a suspected gas leak. A family that is already famous because of a True Crime documentary so not all is as it seems.

We get to see multiple POVs from before and after the deaths. I usually don’t love more than two POVs but this one was so well done. I loved every single character. I was a bit emotional by the end because I wished it had ended differently for the family. But I know that’s what made the book so amazing.
I honestly felt like I was watching an action movie through most of the book.

The story has a little bit of true crime, mystery, suspense and everything that makes a thriller amazing.
This may be a bit early but this might just be my favorite thriller of 2021.

Thank you to Bookishfirst and Minotaur books for the early copy of this book.
