I love a good mystery/thriller. This one gets going right away. Not only are you dealing with the death of Matt's family, but, also the fact that his brother is in prison for murdering his girlfriend. I like the way it is written and told from multiple points of view and from past to present. You get the chance to learn what is going on in the minds of these characters. After reading this short sample, I have to know how this book turns out.
