Alex Finlay's "Every Last Fear" strikes all the right chords in the popular, sometimes oversaturated, world of suspense novels with multiple narratives from untrustworthy characters.

"Every Last Fear" has all the hallmarks of this genre, including family dysfunction and mysteries within mysteries. It becomes clear from the first time we read a chapter from Evan's perspective, that the multiple narratives aren't just gimmicks in this novel. They provide purposeful insight and context to the unfolding drama surrounding the Pine family.

The short chapters, concise writing, and interesting characters make this a page-turner - one which I look forward to finishing.
