From reading the summary, I simply expected a modern take on Shakespearean classics; even the cover seems to suggest this. However, from reading the First Look, I was pleasantly surprised by what I read. “Enter the Body” is unexpectedly brilliant and unique in its’ take on Shakespeare. To me, “Enter the Body” maintains the essence of Shakespeare’s classics but makes it easier to understand, thereby making you want to keep reading. I especially like “Trap Room” sections where multiple characters are featured. I can’t wait to read on and find out if other Shakespearean classics are retold in addition to Romeo and Juliet.
