Of all the thousands of books that I have read in my lifetime, Endurance by Scott Kelly has been the most fantastic and that is a big statement for me! You do not have to be a serious science/math buff to love this book. I am challenged in those areas myself and not such a buff. No matter your age, gender, or background you will be enthralled. You will find out things about traveling to frontiers beyond our world that you did not even know that you were interested in but you are. As I thought when I first sampled this wonderful book, I know that I will never travel beyond our Earth but I am certain that I am an ancestor of some who will. Scott Kelly has given us a taste of the future. Those of us who read it may even want to do a little more to be a good shepherd of our home planet when we see how difficult it is to exist off it.
