I love memoirs and biographies because people always have something to share and we has readers something to learn. I am not an astronaut and I didn't dreamt to be one as a kid, but I am interested in the perspective of the challenges to be one. It seems to me that it is necessary to be a truly courageous and competent person. The willingness to give a lot of time and energy to be prepared to any situation.
Scott Kelly begins by telling us how it is to come back from space to the family he loves and how his body is reacting to the earth gravity. It's not easy and unfortunately he is tired and sick. He can't go to a hospital! There they can't help him! Why would he want to be in that situation, if he knew it was a possibility? He explains that and how he came to the decision to be an astronaut. His personality, his search for the unexpected, the adventure.
