This book is refreshingly unique regarding setting (for sure!) and experience. Certainly there is nothing quite so similar in scope and appeal. Every aspect of what Kelly shares I find exceedingly intriguing from the minutiae of the monotony of daily life without a change of setting, circumstance or the people to the possibility of being eviscerated by space junk which, from what I have read, is more prevalent than we may know. Then there is the unexpected spiritual turmoil Kelly must of felt subsequent to receiving the devastating news that his sister-in-law had been critically shot. I truly cannot wait to delve into this memoir.

However, I did NOT care for the cover. I mean, come on, the book is set in space and the cover is white??? Yes, it's a memoir and I understand the off-kilter photo of Kelly, but the backdrop should not be a pristine white. Just, well, no.
