First of all, thanks bookishfirst for the copy of Impire of lies, to read and review. I really really enjoyed the story. I usually don't do time travel, but I've read two this year. And this one was really good. It's kind of interesting to stop and think about, "okay, what if this would have happened instead? If this one thing had been changed." What if we took a piece of modern society and took it back to a time where that technology or knowledge simply did not exist before? It is such an interesting topic, and this aurthor really did right it well. There was the right amount of action and suspense. And what ifs. This is the first story that I have read like this specifically. And it really makes you think! Superb story!
