I was intrigued by the synopsis, but the First Impression didn't hook me. The concept here seems to be all about time travel, which I is a total hit or miss for me - and mostly miss. The writing has a vivid, picturesque quality that initially intrigued me, though before long I got bored with the content and started skimming. While I could see the action playing out, I didn't feel a connection to the characters. Ultimately, I'm simply not the right reader for this book.
