I'm immediately enamored not only by the strange premise of women disappearing from this town, though that certainly is compelling, but also the deeply atmospheric descriptions of this forest town. Just in 30 pages, it feels very real with its own established history and locations and details, and it feels like a very fitting setting for such an odd occurrence. I also felt like the characters came across well, again even in a short time there's a good sense of depth to all of them.
