I liked this author's previous book, Saint X, so I was anxiously awaiting her next book and, based on the first impression I read, this one did not disappoint me. It appears to be a challenging, hypnotic and interesting story and from reading an excerpt that was both beautifully and chillingly descriptive, I am wondering what fate has in store for the females of this remote village.
