I loved the mood this book set as I dove into Vera’s mysterious community. Such a detached and ominous setting! I’m truly drawn in, and have to know: where are the mother’s going? Is there something supernatural here? Is someone killing them?! Who is Ruth really, and what brought her here? I’m excited to find out what secrets will be unveiled in the rest of this story!
