Elevate is an interesting self-help book that is meant to be a guide to help productivity and general happiness.
I confess that I skimmed many parts of this book. However, this book definitely is okay with that. It really emphasizes that there is no one book filled with perfect advice for everyone, but that this is a book that will definitely have something that is applicable to you.
I thought that this book was very easy to follow and it was slightly humorous at times, but not so in a way that distracts from the content. What was very special was the fact that I felt as if the author actually cared about my personal journey in improving my life, which is rare. Other books sometimes seem like it's purpose is just so that the author can lecture his/her view on life and assumes people want to here about. This book is a nice change from that.
