Interesting but not enough content to make a worthwhile decision
It seemed like the first 20 pages of this sample were praises for the book, the content list and forwards/preface.
It would have been nice to get a bigger sample of the actual advice that this guide book is looking to give. The first insight that we were able to actually get to did seem to have some interesting advice. I would be interested to see what other advice he has to give.
I would suggest that some of the blurbs/praises should be removed. I am one of the few people who will read the copyright page in a book but I would never read 18 praise blurbs about a book that I was about to read. I would say leave a maximum of 5. It just doesn’t seem necessary to include that many.
This would probably be something I would borrow from the library to see if it actually gave enough worthwhile advice for me to consider buying it.
