A solid start for a self-help book

I typically do not read self-help books, preferring instead to read articles or shorter pieces. I really enjoyed the foreword by Lisa Genova, and found it honest and convincing. Different self-help books will resonate with different people, and at different times in people's lives. Personally, the first chapter didn't feel particularly memorable. I prefer more storytelling and less self-reflection (maybe that's why I primarily read fiction?). However, I did appreciate the various points that Deitch makes.

I like the cover because it is simple and clean - kind of relaxing!
