The summary of the book drew me in. I want to know more about the main character and how she sees her mother’s ghost and how she connects with the the popular guy. The cover is beautiful. But the sample we were given is not quite enough to make me want to read the book. I did not get to know the characters enough before it was ending and I still do not understand their relationship to ghosts to understand what all of that has to do with the summary. The idea sounds so good that I do hope to one day pick up this book and read it. The writing was good. The setting was well developed for the scene, I could imagine being in that abandoned hospital. The dialogue was natural. Nothing seemed forced.
