Oh WOW! This was an amazing YA novel by Katie McGarry! I got pulled in almost immediately. Veronica and Sawyer are from polar opposites as far as social circles go in their high school, but their senior year brings them together. Veronica and her truck driving dad have converted their three story house into a first floor apartment and the top two floors their own home. The apartment is usually used by short term renters, and this time it is Sawyer, his mom, and little sister Lucy because they are waiting on their new house's construction to be completed. At first they continue to avoid each other until they are brought together by the ghosts in the house, including her mom who also died of a brain tumor, as well as them both needing Senior Thesis projects partner. What they don't expect is for feelings to form between them to the point that Veronica reveals that she has a brain tumor that is slowly killing her to Sawyer. While they grow closer during the process of the project and living so close together, their friends start to accept them as a couple. What other people don't know is that Veronica is living on borrowed time and is hiding new symptoms that are arising. What will happen between Veronica and Sawyer?
