This books starts off interesting right away. The main character is likeable and I want to find out why she is there to die. I also like how the atmosphere is set. It's a good combination of creepy and cozy. There is a part in the book, "It’s early evening, not quite nightfall, and the sky surrounding us is full of pinks and the dark blue of evening," The visualization is stunning and perfect for a cozy fall read. The mystery behind it and the instant connection to the character draw me in and immediately want to finish. This one will definitely be on my TBR and one I will recommend. The author is clearly a good writer with a solid plot and some good creepiness mixed with fun. I look forward to reading the rest!
