This was a slow burn YA romance for me. With all the history from each character, I think it really took over the overall path of where the story was heading and as a reader, it made me just kinda want it to be over with but in a good way because the suspense was there at times.⠀
⠀If this book didn’t involve spiritual hauntings and ghosts I wouldn’t have continued it. But that was interesting enough to have me continue reading. The love between Sawyer and Veronica was great to see come together. It's truly a classic love story but with a twist and that was what I enjoyed most!

I just wish that the book didn’t divulge into Sawyer’s personal life as much because I truly think all of that added in took over and away from the original story which was between Sawyer and Veronica created a new found love and bond with one another and having essentially ghosts help them do exactly that.⠀
However, I would recommend this one to YA readers, especially if you enjoy YA romances this one is for you.
