I don't usually read contemporary Young Adult books but the cover caught my attention and the blurb sounded interesting so I thought I would give it a try. Any book is usually made better with the addition of ghosts and such and I really enjoyed reading it.
Both Veronica and Sawyer were surprisingly likable characters. I really liked how despite the struggles they were going through with the tumor and the addiction, they were able to help each other out and be nice to others. The senior project with trying to prove ghosts are real was fun to read about and added to the story nicely. It wrapped up well too and I enjoyed the whole book. If the author's other books are like this one, then I will probably read more by her!
