Veronica is a misfit who has a brain tumor and knows that she's dying. Sawyer is the popular boy who is tired of everyone else's expectations of him, he just wants to live his life his way. The haunted house full of ghosts and a school project that's required for graduation, will these issues bring the two together?
I loved the characters. They were well written and well formed, very relatable. The imagery of the popular kids versus the socially inept kids reminded me of when I was in school. I thought the story was great. It was very fast paced and enjoyable. I stayed glued to this story until it's conclusion. There was just enough spooky content to make it a creepy read, but not enough to call it a horror. I thought it was a really sweet book.
