Veronica and Sawyer instantly stole my heart while reading the book. Veronica is a character that gets judged for being different but the group of friends she has love her for it. While Sawyer is the popular boy that everyone wants to be friends with. I felt a connection to these characters because I know what each one goes through with their own personal battles they have to face. While reading the book, you can not help feeling like wishing you could both hug both of them and protect them. Katie McGarry has a way with words, while reading this book you get so absorbed in it that you want to devour reading it in a day. She has a way of writing about characters that you can not help but love.
