yes... love gothic feel in books!

This excerpt introduced Veronica and the other main characters, and made me feel like I already cared about them. The friends have graduated high school, but Veronica is younger and still a senior. A young man moves into the apartment below, and he intrigues her. She thinks he may be hiding something... The writing feels gothic, mysterious ... even a bit ominous. I think it would be a fun read.
