I love YA, but I usually don't read too much YA Contemporary because it can be too brutal sometimes, and most of the time it breaks my heart in one way or another. And I can sense this book is going to be a tear-jerkier, but I was really draw by the title and cover so I gave the first look a try.
And I was instantly draw into the story, even though the first look was very brief. I love book that draw you in immediately and the author managed to do this within the first sentence, which was brilliant. And the characters, V especially, calls to me. She's like a kindred spirit and I want to know more about her.
I really am looking forward to reading more and believe there's something really special about this book. I highly recommend just from what I've read so far.
