My first impression of this book was spot-on. It has easy to understand step-by-step instructions and makes drawing so much easier than I'd cooked up in my head. I'm a creative soul and love to express myself in various ways--and this is a new one. I'm surprised my color pencil drawings are cute, rather than the simple stick drawings I've always incorporated in my doodling.
With the guidance of this book, I'm inspired to draw more and search for other things to draw.
The softbound book is glossy and the pages are sturdy and colorful. Some of the designs are actually much more intricate and challenging (challenging in a good way!) than I’d previously thought, due to the more sweet designs on the cover.
