Having seen only a few pages, I'm curious to know if the "demonstration" pages in the excerpt are the extent of the step-by-step instructions, or if there are additional pages breaking down the elements. If not, I wouldn't say this is step-by-step so much as an attempt to give people the tools to learn how to see easily drawn shapes in animal bodies and piece them together on their own, the demo pages have a "1-2-wow it's done" format.
